# Change Resource Type

> Learn how to change the resource type of a booking in the FlightWise administrator portal

Follow these steps to change the resource type of a booking directly from the bookings timetable:

1. **Select the Booking**
   * Click on the booking item in the timetable that you want to update
2. **Open Options Menu**
   * Click the ellipsis button (⋮) on the booking
3. **Choose Change Type**
   * Select "Change Type" from the dropdown menu
4. **Select New Resource**
   * Choose the resource tab you want to switch to (e.g. **Aircraft**, **Classroom**, or **Simulator**)
   * Select the specific item (e.g. a particular aircraft or simulator)
5. **Save**
   * Click the "Save" button to apply the change

The booking will now be updated with the new resource.
